MANIFESTI INFINITI MAGMA MUSEO

University project realized in collaboration with MAGMA Museum of Civitanova, Marche (Italy)

The goal of this intervention is the implementation of an interactive experience for the MAGMA Museum of Graphics and Posters of Civitanova Marche. The research phase begins with the definition of our target audience. They are mainly designers and specialized personnel, but there is no shortage of families, children and simple enthusiasts.

[ENG] The project aims to redesign the visitor experience within the museum. This will be possible thanks to the creation of an interactive path that accompanies the user from the moment he enters the MAGMA door. In fact, the museum was unable to efficiently communicate the large amount of archived material and the procedures with which it processed the material.Failing to adequately manage and enhance the high amount of material available, the museum left the visitor astonished.

[ITA] Il progetto mira a riprogettare l’esperienza del visitatore all’interno del museo. Ciò sarà possibile grazie alla creazione di un percorso interattivo che accompagna l’utente sin dal momento in cui varca la porta del MAGMA. Il museo, infatti, non riusciva a comunicare in modo efficiente la grande quantità di materiale archiviato e le procedure con cui elaborava il materiale.

Non riuscendo a gestire e a valorizzare in modo adeguato l’elevata quantità di materiale a disposizione, il museo lasciava il visitatore attonito.

[ENG] The user draws the cards (which act as a search filter) from the box inside the dashboard and, by inserting them in the appropriate slots, he will see all the posters available with the chosen filter on the side walls, while on the central display he will receive information relating to the current poster.

[ITA] L’utente pesca le cards (che fungono da filtro di ricerca) dal box interno alla plancia e, inserendole negli appositi slot, visualizzerà sulle pareti laterali tutti i manifesti disponibili con il filtro prescelto, mentre sul display centrale riceverà le informazioni inerenti al manifesto corrente.
